Pony Birthday Parties
Minimum $150.00 for up to 10 children—$15/child with a maximum of 25 children
Birthday party rates include 2 hours of crafts, games, and equestrian activities followed by a 1 hour rental of the equestrian classroom for cake and presents. Parties accommodate 5-25children. One adult chaperone must attend for each 5 children.
Birthday participants will enjoy one craft and several of the activities listed below.
Crafts: Choose One
Decorate a Horse Shoe—Kids get to recycle a real horse shoe and make it into something beautiful.
Stick horses: Kids make and decorate their own stick horses.
Bandanna - Use fabric markers and paints to design your very own bandanna to wear home.
Activities:
Leading Obstacle Relay Race—Kids learn how to safely lead their ponies then group up into teams and lead the ponies through an obstacle course. Fun and games are combined with safe and effective handling techniques.
Paint a pony—Kids get a chance to finger paint a real horse. Kids learn real Native American symbols and paint them on their ponies.
Pony Rides - kids are led around the indoor arena.
Grooming—kids learn about how and why we groom horses. Each child gets a chance to pet and brush a horse.
Saddles and Saddling—children have access to several types of saddles and learn how they are used, and get a chance to sit in saddles during their pony ride.
Tack—the importance of equipment care, and how to clean saddles & bridles.

Safety
Children enrolled in camp and party programs must wear long pants and sturdy close toed shoes. For safety reasons children wearing sandals, shorts or cloth sneakers will not be able to participate in horse handling activities. Approved helmets will be provided for pony rides and riding activities. A parent-signed waiver is required for horse activities.
